The noise from the computer mainframe is annoying.People have developed a variety of products to reduce noise pollution sources from CPU and power fans. There are basically three types:
1.Increase the diameter of the heat dissipation fan to ensure air flow and reduce rotation speed;
2.Use a water cooling device to replace the cooling fan to cool the temperature;
3.Adding materials with better thermal conductivity to heating bodies such as CPU and graphics card to increase heat dissipation area
In addition, there are products such as thickened steel plates and increased integrity on the chassis to reduce resonance.
However, the effect of the above method is not ideal, and the fan cannot be removed from the radiator. Even at present, the latest expensive CPU "fan-less radiator" on the market is not competent for its work alone due to its high temperature rise at full load, and it must have sufficient fan ventilation in the machine before it can be applied. As for the method of adding sound deadening layer and thickened steel plate to the chassis, the sound reducing effect is very little. In a word, whether it is a "water cooling head" radiator or a "fan-free" radiator, its fixed connection mode brings inconvenience to inspection, maintenance, replacement and cleaning of internal parts, and it has complicated structure, various materials and processes, high processing cost, and affects the surrounding heat dissipation, thus it has not achieved satisfactory results. However, the "water-cooled head" radiator is not widely used because of its liquid leakage.
