cooling fan as a key component in various fields, its quality reliability is very important, which will directly affect the service life of supporting products and is also closely related to the normal operation of our common machines. In the field of automation, fans also affect the performance and working life of inverter and other products due to their heat dissipation function, which is of key significance. It is even more important to choose a professional and responsible fan supplier.
As for the frequency converter that is indispensable for equipment control and speed regulation at present, natural heat dissipation is generally adopted for low-power frequency converters, and the use environment should be well ventilated and free of dust and floating objects that are easy to adhere.
The application objects of such frequency converters are mostly household air conditioners, numerical control machine tools and the like, the power is very small, and the use environment is relatively good. However, a large number of existing researches and practices show that the failure rate of the frequency converter will increase with the increase of temperature, the service life will decrease with the increase of temperature, the ambient temperature will increase by 10℃, and the service life of the frequency converter will be halved.
The heating of the inverter is caused by internal losses. The main circuit accounts for 98% and the control circuit accounts for 2% of the losses in each part of the inverter. In order to ensure the normal and reliable operation of the inverter, it is necessary to dissipate heat from the inverter. We usually use fans to dissipate heat. The internal fan of the frequency converter can take away the heat dissipation inside the box body of the frequency converter.
For high-power frequency converters, fans should be added to the control cabinet. The air duct of the control cabinet should be designed reasonably. All air inlets should be provided with dust-proof nets to ensure smooth air exhaust, so as to avoid eddy current formation in the cabinet and dust accumulation at a fixed position. Select the matching fan according to the ventilation quantity in the inverter manual, and pay attention to the shockproof problem when installing the fan.
